Girls Circle is a positive mentoring program designed for girls in Middle School. SAL Deputies interact with female students in a small private setting. This is a safe caring environment that allows girls to open up and speak about problems or issues they might not otherwise feel comfortable talking about.
Girls are able to get guidance and feedback from their peers. All conversations are kept private. Deputies are on hand to foster discussion and to guide the activities of the day. At the end of the session the girls are treated to some sort of field trip. Field trips are supervised by Deputies and are a great bonding experience.
